Purpose
  • ADD-7101 is a fine gel based on special organic substances that has special anti-sedimentation properties without raising the viscosity of the system. ADD-7101 controls settling of pigments in solvent-borne coatings and pigment concentrates by developing more shear-thinning rheological behaviour. ADD-7101 will prevent the formation of hard pigment sedimentation on the bottom of the can.

  • ADD-7200 is a halogen-free, quaternary ammonium compound. ADD-7200 increases the conductivity in elastomers (polyurethane foams) and thermoplastics (polyesters). It also will reduces the build-up of static electricity in inks and coatings. ADD-A40 releases ammonia during the drying process and therefore has little impact on water and alkaline resistance of the dry film. Use of ADD-A40 should be limited to pH 5 -10.5 and temperatures lower than 70°C due to potential loss of volatile ammonia.
