Has been developed especially for water-based ink, coatings & varnishes used for food packaging applications. Fulfil the Swiss Ordinance requirements, all ingredients used are listed in Part A of Annex 6. Can be incorporated prior to processing. If it is added subsequently, good distribution must be insured

ADD-2020 displays spontaneous defoaming properties and demonstrates no negative influence on inter-coat adhesion when overcoated. Due to its strong incompatibility (better defoaming properties), the influence upon the transparency of clear systems and upon cratering must be evaluated. When used in the ink industry, it reduces the accumulation of foam in the ink pan or reservoir during the printing process.
