ADD-7112
ADD-7112 provides an excellent balance between high and low shear viscosities, and an excellent compatibility with most organic and inorganic pigments and amongst other uses is particularly effective in silk and flat emulsion paints. The most effective and stable viscosity is obtained when the plateau part or the pH viscosity curve is reached. The final pH of the paint should be adjusted within the range 8-9. Lower pH’s can lead to flocculation and viscosity instability.
Storage, safety & handling
Is stable if appropriately used, it must be stored at a temperature above 5°C and below 40°C and protected from direct sun exposure. When kept in an original unopened container, it will keep up to 2 years from the date of manufacture. Should be handled in accordance with good industrial practice.

The neutralizing alkali used in conjunction with the acrylic polymer can significantly impact the properties of the final coating. ADD-A40 releases ammonia during the drying process and therefore has little impact on water and alkaline resistance of the dry film. Use of ADD-A40 should be limited to pH 5 -10.5 and temperatures lower than 70°C due to potential loss of volatile ammonia.
